Every firefighter is trained to a minimum of Firefighter II, Fire Apparatus Engineer, and Emergency Medical Technician. Every member knows the importance of constantly updating their expertise and honing their firefighting skills. Many members have expanded their training to specific rescue disciplines or supervisory responsibilities.  Members of the department are active in MABAS Division XX Teams such as Hazardous Materials and Technical Rescue to name a few.
